This is not your average port call: it's a purpose-built paradise with pristine beaches, a massive waterpark, overwater cabanas, and a helium balloon ride that floats 450 feet above the island.

Tips for Kosher Travelers
- Eat breakfast on the ship — The island opens around 8-9 AM. Have a full breakfast at the Solarium Bistro before heading ashore.
- Return for lunch — The ship stays docked all day. You can return for a kosher lunch onboard and head back to the island afterward.
- Bring kosher snacks — Sealed packaged snacks are helpful for the beach. See our packing list.
- No kosher food on the island — All food outlets on CocoCay are non-kosher. Plan your meals around the ship's dining schedule.
- Shabbat note — If CocoCay falls on Shabbat, you can stay onboard and enjoy a peaceful Shabbat while the ship is docked.
Port Guide
CocoCay is a tender port — but as Royal Caribbean's private island, the process is quick and efficient. The ship docks very close to shore, and tenders (small boats) shuttle guests to the pier in minutes. The island is well-organized with clear signage pointing to each attraction area.
Free areas include Chill Island beach, Splashaway Bay, and South Beach. Thrill Waterpark, Coco Beach Club cabanas, and the helium balloon are paid add-ons that can be booked through the Royal Caribbean app before your sailing.
